Wigwam sock F1400 – Ultra-soft Merino Wool Hiking Sock consists of an integrated Olefin liner for the ultimate in dry-lined comfort. Because the liner is fully integrated with an Olefin liner, we are able to achieve enough “give” in the sock to reduce friction and are able to increase the effective moisture movement properties of the fabric. These Wigwam socks F1400 also include a 1×1 mock rib rolled top, elasticized arch panel,cushioned sole, reinforced foot bottom and ultra smooth lin toe closure. Available in a variety of colors.

I ordered three pairs of INgenius socks, because a friend of mine said they were fantastic. The feature that he liked the most was the fact that they were able to dry next to a fire in a humid jungle night in Panama. I do a lot of jungle stuff, so I decided that I would also love to have socks that dried overnight.
I’ve worn the socks and they feel comfortable, have a good grip and wick sweat pretty effectively. I haven’t had to dry the socks over a camp fire yet, but I’m sure they’ll be fine.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was that the model of socks I thought I was purchasing read “INgenius” on the side, whereas the socks I received read “Wigwam”. I obviously know that Wigwam is the brand and INgenius is one of their models. But I don’t know whether they sent me a different model of Wigwam socks, or if the new INgenius model has changed now and doesn’t have the “INgenius” logo on the side.
This might be just a minor nuance, but I think buyers should be told exactly what they’re buying to avoid confusion.
