I found these to be pretty comfortable and a fairly thick material. They seem to be well made. I have only worn them 3 or 4 times so I can’t comment on how sturdy they are. The elastic at the top of the sock is tighter than the others that I bought which is one of the reasons I bought diabetic socks. That is to avoid strangling my legs or restricting circulation. Although, they are probably better than all of my non-diabetic socks.

For $10 for ONE sock, you’d be better off getting some GoldToe black socks. This is NOT anywhere near as comfortable looking as it is in the photo – in fact, it looks more like a cheap walmart ribbed dress sock. I wear a men’s size 10.5 shoe, bought a Large – it’s SO TIGHT you can see my foot through the weave (which is open). The elastic around the top feels like one-string of rubber band; if it snapped, you’d have nothing holding up your sock (it barely holds up as it is). Also, for being mid-80%-cotton, it sure doesn’t feel like it.
End result: Don’t buy these. Awful.
