I noticed coolmax and other types of special polyesters that supposedly wick better than cotton, but I’ve noticed cotton socks treated with antimicrobial stuff like microban. But I haven’t found socks with both. I recently bought a pair of Rocky brand-Fort Hood 8″ boots. They’re great for the most part. Not to gross anyone out, but my only problem is that my feet get hot and sweaty in them. I’ve tried merino wool socks and plain cotton socks with only minimal relief as a result. I don’t want to have to get another pair of boots, but it’s real uncomfortable having your feet feel like they’re in the Amazon. I don’t have time to change socks in the middle of my shift and foot powders only work for about an hour.

Do any of you have any advice/first hand experience on socks that can my help my feet get cooler and drier? Any recommendations? Thanks.
